 ABOUT THE CLUB  ~

We are a non affiliated, family orientated social motorcycle club since 1975

We're not an outlaw club... but we stand by them... Guilt by association is wrong!!

Easyriders SMC Adelaide is proud to be a Supporter of the SA UMC

We are the Adelaide chapter of EASYRIDERS S.M.C. & proud to be part of a Social Mates Club that has been in operation since 1975 & is still gaining momentum; an S.M.C. that respects all other Clubs or Groups right to follow their own creed or ideals.

Have a look around our site & if the Adelaide Chapter of  EASYRIDERS SMC is of genuine interest to you, feel free to join.

We meet on the first Wednesday of the month @ 7pm upstairs @ the Directors Hotel, 247 Gouger street Adelaide. Those interested in finding out more about the club & new members are welcome to attend.

Some may consider our rides slow, thats fine, we cruise, observe posted speed limits, enjoy the scenery & get to where we're going all upright & in one piece. If knee scraping, overlimit "living on the edge" rides are your bag, then theres plenty of other clubs that may suit you better.

We organise safe, easy rides for male & female riders of all ages & skill levels, that includes Learners, with bikes from 250cc right thru to 1600 Harleys. Our members predominantly ride cruisers & we don't condone brand predjudice, as long as you're on a bike & interested in having a good time with likeminded people, then thats what we're about. We have social gatherings such as BBQ's, dinner nights at various hotels & generally just getting out & getting involved in community events & enjoying everything the motorcycle lifestyle has to offer.

We also encourage our members & families to be actively involved in coming up with ride ideas or social events. We value the input & participation of our members & we value our sponsors & encourage you to support them as they support us.

Although we mainly ride Cruisers, we encourage riders of all types of bikes, wether they be cruisers, tourers, crotch rockets, bikes with sidecars, trikes, antique bikes or even scooters (250cc minimum)  We will endeavour to tailor rides to suit all types of bikes & skill levels. New to riding? Tag along, you can learn some valuable skills from our more experienced riders, skills that may one day save a life.

~ COME FOR A RIDE, YOU DECIDE ~

Membership of  Easyriders smc is free . However, for the Adelaide chapter, membership is not automatic, all new memberships will be pending until approved. A 2 month waiting period for the back patch stands unless you are referred to the club by one of our members. On joining, a new member can purchase nametags, chapter tags & front patches through the Adelaide chapter although we suggest you wait until you are certain that EASYRIDERS SMC is for you.

The back patch will only be authorised by the chapter President after consultation with club members & after the initial 2 month period has passed. This 2 month period is to make sure that new members are genuine & not complete tossers like empire builders, 1% wannabe's, parking inspectors, or other government revenue collectors!!

ALL Easyriders patches remain the property of the club & you will be required to be return them when leaving the club or upon request. Any behaviour that results in bringing a bad reputation to the club will lead to you being asked to return any requested patches.

We enjoy the freedom of the open road & our aim is for QUALITY in membership not QUANTITY.  We support UMCSA & openly support the resistance to the unjust, draconian laws that the government is trying to impose on our 1% brothers. Don't be fooled, this is just the beginning, these laws, if passed will ultimately affect everyone, even you Mr Average.

Members can get information from the clubs website's for up coming rides & events or by arrangement, can be contacted via text message.

                                                   Our Insignia

YES - we wear our sanctioned one piece social club "INSIGNIA” front & back & have done so for over 20 years now ,The back insignia is uniquely designed for ready recognition & worn with pride (NO ROCKERS)  We Support RED, WHITE & BLUE (The Australian Flag).  All patches remain the property of Easyriders SMC Worldwide.

It is up to the full member whether he wants to wear the back & front patch or just the front patch. .You do have that choice & you won't be made to feel any less for doing so.

The back patch may be authorised after a 2 month waiting period in the Adelaide chapter unless you are recommended to the club by an existing member.

Official Club Patch Meaning:   The club patch is a traditional inheritance of the club and is not open to consideration of change at any stage.  Wear your club gear with pride, worldwide.
The square around our logo symbolises integrity, truthfulness, & honour. Club Colours, Red white & Blue symbolizes the Australian Flag. The name means Easy Riding, quite simple really, nothing else.
S.M.C Means Social Mates Club.  The motorcycle, well guess what we like to do.

Founded in 1975 by three brothers John, Dougie & Pedro at Evans Heads on the far north coast of NSW as a mark of respect for their lost brother Gordy. The rest is now history with chapters world wide.

The concept for EASYRIDERS SMC is a non-profit organisation based upon trusted brotherhood & loyal mateship while spending a day or so on a motorcycle. We have members with Military & Non Military backgrounds, ex members of other clubs, dads, mums & kids, young & not so young people, people from all walks of life. Proud Australians who don’t discriminate by Gender, Nationality, or Beliefs nor your mode of transport, Back to the basics of riding bikes having plenty of fun along the way, helping the community & country

In God We Trust Since 1975

The club is growing at a comfortable rate, we have members from all religions & ethnic groups’ world wide. We are open to communication with other clubs however we do our own thing mostly. One thing we don't condone in this club is drugs or anything to do with drugs. we do numerous charity & support rides. Over the years these have included Age Care, MS, Kids for Cancer, Breast Cancer Awareness, Care flight, Salvation Army, War Veterans, Diabetes Australia, Day of Difference Foundation, Helping the disabled & disadvantaged (Wheelie Warriors), VVMC Dawn Service & Poker Runs.

WE ARE NOT AN OUTLAW CLUB

We are NOT a 1% Motorcycle Club nor do we pretend to be one, but we respect the rights of all people in their choice of lifestyle. We respect all 1% clubs & the motorcycle community no matter what patch they are wearing. We give respect & honour to all & ask the same in return. We have no interest in territorial claims or the business of other clubs.
